As we approach Christmas, we have raised over £10,200 for Alzheimer’s Research UK, nearly halfway there to meeting our ambitious goal to raise £25,000.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the UK’s leading dementia research charity.
What have we been up to?
A personal donation: Charity Auction Gala by MLE
Sarah bought in £185 auctioning two of her mother’s felt artworks.
Bluetits selling for £75 to a lovely lady working for David Nott foundation and White Blossom selling for £110 to a fellow artist!
Not only raising money for a very important charity but bringing life back to her mother’s precious artworks and bringing her joy.
Team spirit in action: Cloud Focus Football Tournament
Joe, Arron and Ralph played 7 fantastic games of football, progressing to the knock-out stages into the final, where they put against the Alzheimer’s UK Research team themselves and winning us the Shield!
Festive fundraising with Sarah
Sarah has spent the last month crafting one unique Christmas tree decoration a day, from knitted Santa to embroidered baubles. That’s 30 handmade decorations in total!
Having raised £230 so far, with still several decorations left to sell below.
If you would like to decorate your tree with a hand-crafted item and raise money for charity, get in touch. All proceeds go to Alzheimer’s Research UK!
Thank you to everyone involved in these efforts, from donating and bidding to crafting and playing. Together, we’re making a real difference.

What else are we up to?
As we head into the new year with 3 months left of fundraising, we have Ralph training for his half marathon.
In January, the team will attempt the Thames Bridges Trek 25km walk, as suggested by our newest member of the team, Alex. Walking from Putney heading east towards the City, zig-zagging over 16 historic bridges, with a mid-point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground and then 25 km later, beyond Tower Bridge finishing in Southwark Park.
